Railroad Square Pride!
Friday, April 26th, 5:00pm to midnight.
Tallahassee PRIDEFEST is an annual celebration of the rich diversity of the greater Tallahassee area. PRIDEFEST is more than a festival; it provides the LGBT and allied community with a chance to come together, united, to promote peace and understanding, and to educate the rest of the community about the importance of diversity, acceptance, and equality.
Railroad Square Art District is proud to host “Railroad Square Pride”, an event supporting the LGBT and allied community during pride week! “Railroad Square Pride” will take place in Railroad Square on the Friday preceding, “Pride in the Plaza (Saturday) in Kleman Plaza.
The celebration in the square will host four public events: “Bongos and Bubbles”, “Pride Poetry and Prose”, “Karaoke Pride” and ending with a viewing of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. There will also be a private event for the Tallahassee Pridefest Sponsors.
Guests attending “Railroad Square Pride” will be given a Railroad Square “Passport” requiring four ticket stamps for validation. Stamps can be obtained in any combination of event participation or by visiting galleries or merchants within the park.
